The exciting weekly entertainment line-up includes performances on Thursdays by "Ekolu Kane," a three member band playing contemporary and island music. On Friday evenings, the musical styling of "Soul Café," a musical trio specializing in Hip-Hop and R&B, and "After 5," three ladies with harmonies that will soothe the soul, are featured. Two groups top off the weekly entertainment on Saturdays with the "Greg MacDonald Duo," featuring Greg and Junko MacDonald who perform their rendition of classic and contemporary Hawaiian music through the beat of the steel pans, and "J&J," a trio made up of Jon, Janette and Eric Stellar known for their varied musical selections.
The Pakini Bar at the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk is open to the general public from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week. Here, patrons can catch their breath from the bustle of Waikiki and enjoy any one of the Pakini Bar's refreshing beverages, such as a "Kahlua Colada" or a cool "Hula Girl." From 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Pakini Bar also offers a menu that features everything from build-your-own burgers and delectable sandwiches, to salads and fresh fruit.
Located on the hotel's fourth level Grand Lanai, the Pakini Bar provides a refreshing backdrop while enjoying a cool drink and quick snack. $6.00 valet parking for up to four hours is available at Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk.
