HONOLULU (December 6, 2023) – Waikiki Beach Walk, the multi-faceted shopping, dining and entertainment district at Lewers Street and Kalakaua Avenue, has announced the opening of The Blue Fish, a Texas-based business known for its variety of classic and specialty sushi, sashimi, Japanese and Korean menu items presented in a lively, welcoming and modern atmosphere.

With a soft open on November 20, The Blue Fish currently offers daily dinner service and a daily happy hour with special pricing on rolls, appetizers and beverages. Lunch service is anticipated in the coming months. “Waikiki Beach Walk is pleased to welcome this award-winning restaurant, The Blue Fish, following an extensive renovation of its 2nd floor space that overlooks our plaza lawn and Lewers Street. This exciting Japanese and Asian fusion concept will complement the diverse restaurant concepts at Waikiki Beach Walk,” said Barbara Campbell, Vice President/Retail, Outrigger Hospitality Group. “The Blue Fish is where tradition meets innovation in the world of sushi dining to create an unforgettable experience,” said Julie Osborn, Senior Vice President of the company. “Our offerings range from a vibrant happy hour to a chef curated Omakase dinner. Our sushi chefs are masters of their craft and use only the highest quality locally sourced fish and seafood.” With more than 200 seats, the 5,400 square-foot location will offer indoor and patio seating, a bar and lounge area, a sushi counter and comfortable dining spaces for couples, families and small groups. “Our customers love the wide variety of rolls we offer, as well as our delicious Japanese and Korean dishes. We also have a full bar with a wide selection of craft cocktails, sake and an extensive wine list.
