Trick or Treat: How About Both?

October 30, 2020

Although Hawaii doesn’t experience a typical autumn with golden leaves and chilly temperatures, there are still many ways to get into the spirit of the season. Halloween in particular will look a little different this time around compared to previous years when Waikiki would come alive in the night with people strutting down Kalakaua Avenue dressed to the nines in their most creative costumes.

Even taking kids out for traditional trick-or-treating, bar hopping to different costume contests around town, or decorating the house with crafts for a theme party with friends seems out of reach during the age of coronavirus. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t make the best of it. When it comes to tricks or treats, let yourself have it all during this year of stranger things.
